Have You Considered the Benefits of a Camper van Holiday in Ireland?

PRLog (Press Release) – Aug 27, 2009 – Now you need to decide what sort of holiday in Ireland you want to have. Do you take in the cosmopolitan bright lights of Dublin, Cork and the other large cities, or explore the smaller villages off the beaten track? Do you want to take historical tours or carry out your own research into the pub that pours the best Guinness? Why choose? Why not do it all, with a camper van holiday in Ireland (vacances en camping-car Irlande) with Celticcampervans.com?
Consider the many benefits of a camper van holiday in Ireland when compared with a holiday based in hotels or self-catered apartments. Firstly, there is the freedom. You need not plan your itinerary at all if you don’t want to. Simply collect your modern and comfortable motorhome (2 to 4 berth or 4 to 6 berth) from Celtic Campervans from just outside Dublin airport and you’re on your way, with only the borders of Ireland and your imagination as limitation!
Then there’s the accessibility that camper hire in Ireland (location de camping-car Irlande) affords. It’s a shame if you read about the famed Irish welcome yet only get the chance to experience it at hotel receptions. It’s far easier to meet Irish people from all walks of life on your travels on the winding roads of Ireland. And the Irish scenery is undeniably beautiful from a coach or train window, or glimpsed briefly on a whistle-stop group tour, but it takes on a beauty all of its own when you are part of that scenery, your campervan parked up for the night in a self-discovered beauty spot.
Not forgetting the luxury; not a word that has been historically linked to campervans, but in the case of Celtic Campervans, one that is certainly apt. All of the motorhomes in the Celtic Campervans’ fleet are 2008 models: powerful, easy to drive, spacious and comfortable and equipped with all the mod-cons. The clean and modern sleeping, relaxing, cooking, washing and toilet facilities make even long expeditions enjoyable and mean that relying on campsite facilities is a thing of the past.
Finally, there’s the price. A holiday where the travel and accommodation is rolled into one is always going to be hard to beat for value. And Celticcampervans.com regularly features special offers that make campervans for hire in Ireland (camping-cars à louer Irlande) an even cheaper holiday option. Discover the latest 15% off daily hire rate offer, and much more, at www.celticcampervans.com.

Dadnab Wins 2009 Greater Austin Business Award

PRLog (Press Release) – Aug 27, 2009 – Each year, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce awards small, medium, large businesses and non-profit organizations in a variety of different categories.  This year's awards ceremony took place Wednesday, August 26th at the Hilton Austin Hotel and included over 100 finalists.  Dadnab was one of four finalists in its category.
Dadnab is a transit texting application that enables riders to obtain schedule information from their mobile phones.  A user of the service sends a text message with an origin, destination, and optional departure time.  Moments later, Dadnab replies with the most convenient itinerary for reaching the destination by public transportation.
Roger L. Cauvin, who created and operates the service, accepted the award.
"Not knowing what bus or train to take is a major 'fear factor' that keeps people from using public transportation.  With Dadnab, both new and existing transit riders can rest assured they will get the schedule information they need while they are on the go," says Cauvin.
"By eliminating barriers to transit use and improving the rider experience, Dadnab increases ridership and reduces dependency on the automobile," continues Cauvin.
Dadnab is based in Austin but operates in nine other regions, including the San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Portland, Seattle, Southern California, and the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut tri-state area.

TruTac is Just The Job for Jark

PRLog (Press Release) – Aug 25, 2009 – Jark Driving, one of the country’s leading driver recruitment agencies, has selected TruTac the tachograph and transport software specialists as their preferred analysis and compliance service providers. After an in-depth selection process Jark chose TruTac, because of their impressive performance history, excellent turnaround times and innovative product range.
“We were very impressed with TruTac’s TruControl analysis product and the quality of their service generally,” states Marc Fleckney, Jark’s Corporate Development Manager. “We needed a partner who could uphold our high levels of service and provide superior management reporting to enable us to accurately monitor and manage drivers and vehicle compliance for our clients”.
TruTac is working closely with Jark on a number of Master Vendor on-site client projects, assisting them in managing and reducing infringements whilst improving compliance levels and helping to protect their O’licence. Jark has realised this partnership adds value to their clients in a number of ways; including reducing VOSA inspections and graduated penalties fines.
Terry Ramsey, TruTac’s Managing Director states “We are pleased our strategy of retaining service levels while developing new products is continuing to serve us well. During a time in which the market is struggling, we have seen competitors use this as an excuse to drop service levels; by charging customers peak rate fees for accessing help lines and reducing analysis quality. We have chosen the opposite and focus on adding value to clients by listening to their requirements and giving them the flexible solutions they need. Jark has recognised our business model compliments theirs and as a team we have already won new clients and plan to expand into new market sectors.”

Stena Line Announce Plans To Assist Cash Strapped Students

PRLog (Press Release) – Aug 24, 2009 – Stena Line has reported new statistics which show that 14 per cent of Leaving Cert students are expected to leave Ireland to go to college in Britain as the prospect of fees are putting them off Irish universities.
Additionally, the current strength of the Euro is also making it more affordable for cash strapped students to study across the Irish Sea and, with this in mind, Ireland's leading ferry company (http://www.stenaline.ie/ferry/ ) Stena Line, is offering students the chance to save their money and set sail to university for free*.
Stena Line is continuing its effort to help students settle in to university life with a few more euros in their pocket and for the fifth consecutive year they can travel to Britain for free (http://www.stenaline.ie/student ) on all five Irish sea routes when they are accompanied by a paying adult and car.
Eamonn Hewitt Stena Line’s Communications Manager believes that the current economic climate is making things harder for students, but the support of parents can help them adjust easier to university life.
"With up to 3,000 Leaving Cert students preparing to leave home for the first time it can certainly be very daunting for many. By offering students the chance to travel for free with their parents, it's our way of helping to make the transition that little bit easier, with a few more Euros in the pocket," Eamonn said.
"Parents can pack everything necessary to make sure their child can survive without them and will be relieved to know that when they travel with Stena Line they don't have to worry about any baggage charges. If there are any other friends going to university these students can also travel for free, that is if there is any more room in the car."
Stena Line offers daily crossings on its five different routes to Britain including Dublin Port to Holyhead (http://www.stenaline.ie/ferry/routes/dublin-holyhead/ ), Dun Laoghaire to Holyhead (http://www.stenaline.ie/ferry/routes/dun-laoghaire-holyhead/ ), Rosslare to Fishguard, Belfast to Stranraer and Larne to Fleetwood.
